THE CONFERENCE

Established in February 1996, the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS) aims to foster excellence in transportation research and practice, stimulate professional interchange in transportation, and provide a forum for exchanging ideas on transportation developments.

With the increasing importance of transportation's role for the economy of Hong Kong, Pearl River Delta and beyond, advanced methods in operations research and management science, economics and statistics are needed for optimally planning and operating multimodal transportation systems. Practitioners and academics are cordially invited to share their knowledge and experience on current problems for the sustainable development of transportation. Presentations on the analysis, planning, operation, and management of transportation modes and their impacts are welcome.

11 December, 2006 : Workshop on "Integrated Multimodal Transportation"

LANGUAGE

All presentations and printed materials will be in English.

PROCEEDINGS

Papers presented at the Conference will appear in the Conference Proceedings. The bound volume will be made available to registered participants.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee is HK$2,000 (US$1 = HK$7.8 approximately), which covers the attendance of the Conference and Post-Conference Workshop, Conference Proceedings, lunch, dinner, and refreshments. Accommodation and travel arrangements are not included.
