THE CONFERENCE
Established in February 1996, the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS) aims to foster excellence in transportation research and practice, stimulate professional interchange in transportation, and provide a forum for exchanging ideas on transportation developments.
With the increasing importance of transportation to the economy of Hong Kong and the rest of China, advanced methods in operations research and management science, economics and statistics are critically needed for planning and operating multimodal transportation systems. Practitioners and academics are cordially invited to share their knowledge and experience in fostering ideas and discussion concerning current problems, solutions and the future sustainable development of transportation systems. Presentations on planning, operation, management and control of all transportation modes and their economical impacts are welcome.

LANGUAGE
All presentations and printed materials will be in English.
PROCEEDINGS
Papers presented at the Conference will be selected to appear in the Conference Proceedings. The bound volume will be made available to registered participants.
REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee is HK$1,200 (US$1 = HK$7.8 approximately), which covers the Conference Proceedings, a lunch and refreshments. Accommodations and travel arrangements are not included.
